We measure it based on
Which university we go to
The price of our house
our car
our bag
our shoes
our manicures
our gadgets
our meals
our wedding band
the likelihood of us being invited to a party
the number of likes we get on an instagram photo
the number of followers we have on social media
how often we get matches on Tinder
how often men ask us out
if women look our way in a bar
how attractive our partners are

Makes me wonder why we place so much value on how others view us to seek our worth
When the only place we need to look is within ourselves.
